    • Terms of Agreement

      Client and Caterer agree to the following:

      1. Services
      • Caterer agrees to provide services to the Client for the “Event,” taking place at Various Venues.
      • For this Event, Caterer agrees to provide the following: (see detailed Banquet Event Orders.) for Catering of breakfast and lunch.
      • Client agrees to provide the following.
      2. Deposit
      • Client is required to pay a deposit of 50% of agreed upon signing this Agreement with full balance due within 14 days after the event: Failure to pay is breach of contract and will be charged an additional 30% of the invoice amount.
      • Deposit is not refundable.
      3. Payment
      • For the above services, Client will pay Caterer a total of the Guarantee per person or actual attendance if over the guarantee.
      • Client may request additional services, with the knowledge that these services will add to the total cost agreed upon by this contract, and must be agreed to in writing, either as an addendum to this Agreement, or in a separate document.
      • The balance on the total cost for the Event is due within 14 days of the event. Failure to pay is breach of contract and will be charged an additional 30% of the invoice.
      4. Guests
      • Client agrees to provide Caterer with the total number of guests (guarantee of persons) no later than 72 hours before the Event.
      • Client agrees to break down the guest list into adults and children, and include any food allergies or special dietary requests, if applicable.
      5. Menu
      • Client will choose from Caterer’s Menu as provided.
      • Menu must be confirmed by 72 hours prior to the event or else Client will be subjected to cancellation fees.
      • Menu will be fixed, and no changes may be made, 72 hours before Event.
      6. Cancellation Policy
      • Client may cancel this Agreement 30 days in advance with a 25% fee of total invoice: Cancellation made 7 days or less in advance will receive a 50% fee of total invoice.
      • Cancellation occurring 30 days before Event will result in as outlined in Section 2.
      7. Arbitration
      • Should either party failure to provide or breach this Agreement in any way, the offending party will be liable for any damages.
      • Both parties agree to seek a third-party mediator or arbitrator for any disputes that arise as a result of this Agreement.
      8. Jurisdiction
      This Agreement falls under the jurisdiction of the state of Alaska, and is therefore subject to all of Alaska laws and regulations.
